Kirk's Strap Pod makes steady shots convenient

The new Kirk STRAP POD offers quick support for situations where traditional tripods are not handy or available. And it's easy to use!

Just step or kneel on the looped end of the strap. Then, adjust the length of the strap so that you must pull up slightly in order to raise your camera to your eye. This creates the tension that steadies your shot. That's all there is to it!

The Kirk Strap Pod is so light and easy to carry, you can take it places where a conventional tripod would really slow you down.

The Kirk Strap Pod is manufactured of nylon web strapping with reinforced stitching and an adjustable loop in two styles: a universal camera-mount style, or a Arca-style Quick Release model that fits all Arca-style Quick Release camera and lens plates. The Starp Pod also fits all standard camcorders, most brands of point-and-shoot digital or traditional cameras, spotting scopes, and binoculars.

The Strap Pod's universal and quick release mounts feature captive stainless steel screws set in alloy aluminum for added durability. An adjustable slide buckle allows the photographer to quickly adjust the loop to any position.

Modified Knob for Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR AFS lens

Anyone who has used the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR AFS lens knows how difficult and awkward it is to grip the knob that comes with the lens. Now you can supplement that knob and make it usable. The Kirk modified knob has these features:

Kirk's own heavy-duty security strap keeps cameras or lenses at hand

Whenever you're shooting in the field, here's a safe and convenient way to carry a second camera or telephoto lens. The SS-1 has a padded and fully adjustable strap, and will accept all Arca style quick release plates.

To shorten length of strap-hold bottom side of looped strap, grasp buckle and pull to desired length. To shorten-hold strap above buckle, grasp buckle and pull. When finished, grasp buckle and pull short end of strap, making sure it's taught in buckle. This is important. Ends of strap must point towards QR clamp and strap must be taught in buckle to prevent slippage.
