The new Action Grip is an excellent handle for any DSLR and is great for the new DSLRs with the HD video capabilities. This ultra lightweight grip is manufactured in the United States out of high-grade aluminum and stainless steel. Now with the new feature, an 1/4 in 20 stud with locking ring mounted on top of the padded handle. This makes it possible to mount a hot shoe allowing the use of a flash or a shotgun microphone. Any camera with an Arca-style camera plate mounts rapidly to the quick release clamp. The Action Grip also mounts directly to any tripod that has an Arca-style system.
